Gifts

Hi to all,

It's been awhile since I blogged.  Couldn't get my pics to go from my memory card into my computer.  Sigh.  I am so techno-challenged.  The first photo above is a new stash of antique fabrics sent to me by Gerald Roy.  He had mentioned he might have "a piece of something I could use."  Wow, did he ever!  You can't imagine how excited I was when that package arrived.  It contained quite an assortment of small prints.  Double blues and pinks, cranberries, reds, greens, yellows, some neons and some unusual blues.  The photo doesn't begin to do them all justice, but if you click on it, it will enlarge a bit.  The second photo is of gifts that Pat Lewis (the famous Yo-Yo lady and now a fast friend of mine) gave me.  There is a wonderful scrappy antique quilt top and an assortment of antique blocks. Notice the small Hole in the Barn Door blocks.  They are really charming.  Well, you know that this current crop of fabrics will keep me making miniature quilts for a long time to come.
Other news - I am actually caught up on my Brackman Civil War Blocks, but it will take a long time to get them posted.  Will try to catch it all up and then stay current.
Till next time......
